Animal Wellbeing’s Carbon is an essential carbon dioxide source designed to enhance the bioavailability of organic carbon in your aquarium’s water column. This product supports aquatic plant growth by facilitating efficient photosynthesis through optimal light and nutrient utilisation. By addressing carbon dioxide deficiencies, Carbon prevents stunted plant growth and nutrient uptake while mitigating long-term algae problems that can arise from nutrient competition. INSTRUCTIONS:

Co2 levels are to be maintained between 10-35 mg/l
lightly stocked planted aquarium – 1ml/100L 3 times a week
Medium stocked planted aquarium – 2ml/100L 3 times a week
Heavily stocked planted aquarium (with injected carbon)- 3-4ml/100L 3 times a week
50% weekly water changes are required
