A powerful magnet keeps the two halves of the brush together with can then be moved across the aquarium sides to make glass cleaning an easy task.

There are two knobs on each half and if screwed in tightly, no water can enter the hollow comparment meaning if the two halves of the brush are separate, the side submerged will float to the surface.  Alternatively, unscrewing the knobs will let water in and give the side added weight to sink to the bottom if required.
