PETS Aquarium Algae Killer will control most algae and green water common to fresh water aquariums. It will kill growing algae and can also be used as a preventative against it occurring.  For best results, start treatment as soon as algae appears in the fish tank.  Sunlight and artificial light can contribute algal growth so by limiting these, it can be better controlled.
